Women’s Day at the NYS Fair

Women’s Day at the NYS Fair is happening on Wednesday, August 28th. OR call Pat Fergerson at 315 458-1970 and I’ll snail mail a copy to you or email [email protected] and I’ll send a reply email with the form.  A $20.00 check, made payable to the NYS Fair-memo Women’s Day, should be mailed to: Art & Home Center Women’s Day, NYS Fair, 581 State Fair Boulevard, Syracuse, NY 13209-1551. Get your hustle on. Reservations are due August 16th.  $20 includes entry ($10), parking ($5) and luncheon.

NYS Women, Inc. will be participating in the Mini-Fair. This is a great opportunity to promote who we are and what we do. Promotional materials (postcards and buttons) and the opportunity to become members that day are planned. Make sure you stop into the pavilion to check us out between 10 am and 4 pm.

Joleene DesRosiers (www.joleenespeaks.com) a transformational speaker will present at the noon luncheon “Unstuck”. The 11 am Morning program, “Sleep Well, Live Well”, to focus in on women’s sleep problems and disorders, is presented by St Joseph’s Hospital Sleep Laboratory. Plus all the art exhibits, chocolate competition and the gold medal fruit carver at 3:30. Buildings open at 10 am. Check in at 10:30.

Because Women’s Day is a great quality day, Family and Consumer Science teachers get professional credit for attending Women’s Day.
