In 2004 The NY Grace LeGendre Endowment Fund began awarding Special Grants to organizations in order to sponsor educational or research opportunities which would further the advancement of working women. GLEF is now seeking applications for the Special Grants to be awarded in the Spring of 2016. Requests may range from $100, but may not exceed the total funds available ($500).

Applications are welcomed for NYS Women Inc. Local Chapters, Regions, State President, or State Executive Committee as well as from other organizations whose mission statement is consistent with the purpose of the Endowment Fund.

Full details on the nature of the programs to be considered as well as the details of the application process are available at the GLEF website. Note that applications must be submitted by February 28, 2016 and the program for which a grant is awarded must be completed within one year of the award date.
